I'm having the exact same problem. I leave a town and 10 minutes later it freezes up and then I get the code7 error. I'm in the Northeast on Comcast, if that helps...

This has been an ongoing issue with me, ever since the release of factions.
One small reason why I'm not inclined to buy the new campaign. I'm sure the people in RA now think I'm a rage quitter (even if we're winning). Error 7'd all day today. It's the norm I guess nowadays.

Comcast here. been having this problem for 2 days straight. GW is completely unplayable. ERR7 every 5 minutes if i get lucky. but yet Ventrilo, Counter-Strike have not have any problems whatsoever with latency, lag, packet loss, you name it.

Comcast here also. Error 7 disconnect for 3 days straight. Happens in towns, pvp, and pve. I had to do one quest 7 times to complete it. Very frustrating.

wow i have comcast also and have been dropping for the past few days as well! i live in CT. my roommate moved out a few days ago and i thought he jiggled a cord when he disconnected himself but apparently it could be the ISP. i logged off last night at 9pm because i was trying for masters and had just dropped out of my 2nd group and was frusturated. im really glad its not me but at the same time i hope comcast gets in gear cause i never had this problem before.

seek help with GW tech, take a ticket, keep it going, do the troubleshooting, a ping/trace test will comfirm if it is ALTER.NET problem, the more problems, more ppl, more tickets = A GD FIX! Keep it going ppl!!!

I've err 7'd once since I started GW, which was 1 week after release.
And my PC is a POS

I am also constantly getting dropped. There are good times in the day and bad times in the day, but at any time during the day I have to warn parties that I may get dropped.
It's becoming highly annoying.
I don't use Comcast, I am on Shaw Cable in Canada.
